SUPERVISORY AND EXECUTIVE BOARDS

The supervisory board is made up of 7 Directors - the Chairman Claes Davidsson, Ship Management and HR Director of Stena Rederi, AB, Vice Chairman, Christer Schoug MD of Stena RoRo, Steve Roberts formerly of Technip Offshore, Tom Welo MD of Stena Drilling, Jan Sonesson of Stena Bulk, Staffan Hultgren of Stena AB, and one Executive Director Kenneth MacLeod. The supervisory board is responsible for overseeing the Strategy, Policy, Investments and controls of the Parent Company Stena AB, implemented on an ongoing basis by the Executive Board which consists of Kenneth Macleod, Hugh Ferguson General Manager/Director, Kevin Slade the Personnel Director and Jackie Tierney the Company Secretary and Financial Director.

EXECUTIVE BOARD

KENNETH MACLEOD Managing Director A Master Mariner who first went to sea in 1959 as a Junior Rating. Had 10 years shore based ship management experience before helping to found NMM in 1983. Currently an elected Commissioner of the Northern Lighthouse Board, a Nautical Assessor in the Court of Session and a Non-Executive Director of Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd, the Scottish Government Ferry and Harbour Owning Company.     HUGH FERGUSON General Manager/Director Embarked on a sea going career initially as an engineer cadet with 'British India' which developed into a sea service with P&O. This was followed by employment with Globtik Tankers that culminated in 1982 with a period as assistant superintendent engineer, prior to joining NMM in 1984. Within NMM experience in service as a Chief engineer was enhanced by periods of secondment ashore as superintendent engineer, this became a full time appointment in 1986.     KEVIN SLADE Personnel Director Completed cadetship with Trident Tankers Ltd., then served as Third Officer to Chief Officer with The Geest Line. In 1979 appointed Master with Uiterwyk Lines, serving on general cargo and refrigerated vessels, joining Sea Containers in 1983, serving in command on containerships before taking up shore appointment in 1988 as Marine Manager. In 1997 appointed Human Resources Manager with Stena Line (UK). Joined NMM as Personnel Manager in 1999.     JACKIE TIERNEY Company Secretary and Financial Director ACMA who commenced with NMM in 1984 as a junior member of the Accounts Department. Progressed through the department as the company's client base expanded.
