Northern Marine Management Limited, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Stena AB Gothenburg, formed in 1983 and located in Clydebank, Scotland with the primary commitment of providing ship management services to the various Stena Sphere Shipping divisions. The company provides a comprehensive range of individually structured ship management services to meet the needs of ship owners and operators, with the range of management services offered extending but not limited to technical management, provision of personnel, purchasing, vessel commercial management, accounts and consultancy. Having contracts which span the globe with more than 6,000 sea staff, requires operational offices to be maintained in St. Petersburg, Aberdeen, Gothenburg, Houston, Mumbai, Manila, Hamburg and Singapore. Northern Marine Management manages a diverse fleet and has extensive experience of working with multi-national crews. The NMM Group employs a substantial number of Brazilian, Dutch, Filipino, Indian, Polish, Spanish and Swedish nationals. The Northern Marine Management Companies are major employers of British seamen having in excess of 1,200 British officers and Ratings in its employment base. Our Clydebank office is manned by approximately 102 members of staff including operational and technical personnel who are well versed and experienced in all vessel types. As with all vessel operating divisions of the Stena Sphere, Northern Marine Management adheres to the highest Quality Assurance standards.
