COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS

The management services provided by Northern Marine Management include commercial operations where our goal is to ensure that the shipowner derives optimum economic return from the trading operations of the vessel. We have the experience of performing the commercial management function for oil tankers, chemical and gas carriers. Our services include but are not limited to: Negotiating employment for the vessel Support with charter party negotiations Provision of voyage estimates and accounts Issuing of voyage instructions Calculation of hire, freights, demurrage and despatch monies Collection of freight and hire payments Speed and consumption analysis Defence or prosecution of charter party performance claims Appointing agents and surveyors Arranging supply of bunkers   These services can be provided in whole or in part, dependent on the individual shipowner's requirements. In addition, the services we provide are aided by our co-operative partner Stena Bulk who specialise in commercial management services.
